About diabetes:
Diabetes mellitus is the most widespread form of diabetes. It is a chronic condition characterized by the presence of sugar in the urine, caused by excessive quantity of sugar in the blood (hyperglycemia). This condition is caused by an insufficient or slowed down secretion of insulin by the pancreas.
The causes of diabetes are often hereditary (5% to 7% of the children of diabetics parents are likely of to suffer from it), but they are also connected to eating habits and a sedentary life style.
There are two types of diabetes mellitus: insulin-dependant diabetes or non insulin-dependant diabetes (adult onset diabetes – fat diabetes). The insulin-dependant diabetes is the acute form of diabetes and requires a daily injection of insulin.
The second type or non insulin-dependant diabetes (fat diabetes) represents 85 % of all the cases; it is characterized by an insufficient secretion of insulin but not to the extent of requiring a daily injection of insulin.
Frequent with obese subjects with hereditary predispositions. Obtaining result requires a balanced diet (low in simple sugars) aiming at recovering a normal weight, a health life style including physical activity and sometimes the addition of hypoglycaemic drugs (lowering the level of sugar).
Action of DiabeMine:
DiabeMine is composed of specific plants and natural substances that stimulate the complete digestion of food in the stomach in order to make it totally assimilated. In addition, they stimulate the secretion of insulin by the pancreas and contribute to reduce the level of glucose in the blood.

How many capsules of DiabeMine should one take and for how long?
The recommended dosage is 3 capsules per day, one after each meal. As for duration, it always depends on the level of sugar in the blood. As long as it would be high without the use of DiabeMine then one should continue to take the capsules of DiabeMine. If there is a change in lifestyle (physical activity, low sugar diet and weight loss) then the sugar levels in the blood should decrease with DiabeMine allowing later on to cease the cure.
I am getting insulin injections, can I take DiabeMine?
We do not recommend it because DiabeMine has no influence on responsiveness to insulin, and the resulting stimulation of the pancreas is inadequate. So there will not be any adverse effects but not enough improvement to justify its use.
